I’m going to lay down 10 movies that you probably have never heard of, but are worth mentioning as better than the Hollywood routine bullshit. I’m waiting for some suggestions in the comments area, and… the titles link to IMDB.com.
1. Me and you and everyone we know;
2. Control;
4. Trainspotting;
5. Prozac Nation;
7. City of God;
8. Equilibrium;
9. 4 months, 3 weeks and 2 days (kind of well-known since it won some European awards);
And as a bonus, a movie with Romanian gypsies: Gadjo dilo.
Go download or whatever, but fucking watch ‘em ’cause these are better than those movies you usually see in cinemas or on HBO.

Shawshank Redemption was nominated for an academy award in the US… are these arbitrarily chosen “unknown” or is it based on box office sales?

Heard of all but one the one with smart mammals but it dose not sound like one that has to be known. Ha ha, try just a little more. One man has a gem it thinks everyone should see. Want to pick my head to see what turds I really enjoy? You scored a 1. maybe.

trainspotting, requiem for a dream si 432, intr-adevar, merg. (trainspotting mere mai bine cartea). da’ ce zici de IRREVERSIBLE, andrei roubliev, tous les matins du monde, DOLLS ori elephant…astea-s filme de colectie! (sau inland empire… dogvile…one flew over the coocoo’s nest…)
